was born in Colombia, South America and grew up in Chicago, Illinois. He received his Bachelors degree from the University of Colorado in Denver in 1979 and graduated from the University of Colorado School of Dentistry in 1984. He spent seven years teaching at the School of Dentistry and practicing in Colorado Springs before moving to Texas in 1991. In 1995, Dr. Escobar realized his lifetime aspiration by opening a premiere dental practice, Rose Dental Group, with his partner Dr. Sarradet. He enjoys all phases of General Dentistry, with a special interest in oral surgery and Comprehensive Dental Cosmetics. He is married to attorney Eva C. Ramos, and has four children. His hobbies include tennis, boating, and restoring vintage cars.

was born and raised in Fort Worth, Texas. He received a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at Austin and received his DDS degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio in 1992. After graduation, he returned to Austin to practice general dentistry. In 1995, with the help of his business partner, Dr. Sergio Escobar, he opened the first of three Rose Dental Group offices. He is married and has a son and a daughter. In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his family and pursuing his lifelong hobby of fishing.

was born and raised in Houston, Texas. He received his DDS degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston Dental Branch. Since starting to practice dentistry in 1992, he has found special interest in basic oral surgery and all restorative dentistry. He is married to Mary E. Foxworthy, DDS. Dr. Mueller is also a nationally recognized ping-pong and table tennis player and is also the president of the Austin Table Tennis Club.

is a graduate of the University of Missouri at Kansas City School of Dentistry. He completed his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency at Tripler Army Medical Center. Dr. Nakashima served for 11 years in the United States Army, most recently stationed at Fort Hood, Texas, after having served in Iraq for Operation Iraqi Freedom, as the Oral Surgeon for the 21st Combat Support Hospital. He was honorably discharged in January of 2004. Dr. Nakashima is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.

is a native Texan, born in Austin. She received her DDS degree from the University of Texas Houston Dental Branch in 1998. Dr. Briggs completed a six-year residency program in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Texas Medical Center in conjunction with the University of Texas and Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. During this program she also earned her MD at the University of Texas Houston Medical School.

was born in El Paso, Texas but grew up in Dallas, Jackson, Mississippi, and Sewanee, Tennessee. He graduated from Louisiana State University in 1975 with a BS in Business Administration and worked in commercial and industrial construction for fourteen years prior to entering dental school. He earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Mississippi School of Dentistry in 1994. He returned home to Texas after graduation and completed a one-year General Practice residency at the Olin Teague Veterans’ Center in Temple before moving to Austin in July 1995. Dr. Kistenmacher loves being a General Dentist and getting to know his patients. His hobbies include reading, travel, model railroads, golf, gardening, walking, and spending time with friends and loved ones.

grew up in San Antonio, Texas. She attended the University of Texas at Austin, and then went on to graduate from Dental School at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio in 1979. After graduation she began practicing general dentistry in Elgin and Austin. She enjoys all phases of General Dentistry, especially removable prosthetic dentistry (making replacement teeth or false teeth). She has two sons, and enjoys skiing, swimming, camping, hiking, canoeing, scuba diving, and spectating sports.

was born and raised in Slaton, Texas. He attended Angelo State University, and entered the University of Texas Dental Branch in Houston after his junior year, earning his DDS degree in 1976. He had a private practice in Lake Jackson, Texas for 25 years before moving to Austin and joining Rose Dental Group in 2001. Dr. Chapple enjoys all phases of general dentistry. He and his wife, Marilyn, have a grown son, Ryan. In his spare time Dr. Chapple likes to read and play golf and is an avid sports fan, particularly enjoying baseball, football, and basketball.

was born and raised in Goldthwaite, Texas. He attended Angelo State University from 1989 to 1992 and graduated from the University of Texas Dental School in San Antonio in 1996. He then moved to Austin and has been practicing General Dentistry here for six years. He enjoys hunting, fishing, camping, motor sports, and classic cars.

was born and raised in Fort Worth, Texas and graduated from Texas Wesleyan University with a Bachelors degree in Biology. He attended graduate school at Texas Christian University on Masters Level in Marine Microbiology. That was followed by two years in the Navy dental department, and Dr. Kunze then went on to graduate from Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas. He was in private practice in Fort Worth for 19 years before moving to central Texas. He enjoys all outdoor activities.

was born in Houston, Texas. He attended the University of Texas Dental Branch at Houston, after he visited there when he was 12 years old, which made a positive impact on him and made him realize that he wanted to be a part of a profession that added value to people’s lives. Dr. Lewis specializes in Cosmetic Dentistry and had a cosmetic case published in April 1983. His hobbies include playing tennis, hiking, reading, and going to the movies.

– A native Texan, Dr. Kelly was born in Houston and raised in the panhandle town of Borger. He received his B.A. degree in Zoology from the University of Texas, then continuing at UTDB Houston where he acquired his D.D.S. degree. Upon graduation, he served two years in the Army Dental Corps, stationed in Ft. Lee, Virginia. After completing his tour of duty, he returned to Texas where he established a private General Dentistry Practice in Dallas. His wife, Cynthia, is an interior designer. He enjoys all sports (as a spectator), movie and music trivia, playing golf, and traveling the world.

 was born in Guayaquil, Ecuador and grew up Brooklyn, N.Y. She graduated from The Ohio State University with a B.S. in Welding Engineering. She then went on to work as an engineer in the automotive industry for a few years prior to returning to The Ohio State University to attend dental school. After receiving her D.D.S. degree, she moved to Dallas, Texas to complete a General Practice Residency at the VA Medical Center. Dr. Espinoza worked in private practice in Dallas prior to moving to Austin to join Rose Dental Group. She enjoys reading, dancing, and traveling.

 was born in Juigalpa, Nicaragua. He migrated to the U.S. at the age of 7 and grew up in Miami, FL and San Jose, CA. He received a B.A. in Psychobiology from the University of California, Santa Cruz. From there, he went on to the University of Michigan where he received his D.D.S. degree. After that he complete a General Practice Residency at the University of Tennessee Graduate School of Medicine in Knoxville. He worked for a public health organization in Dallas prior to moving to Austin. He enjoys food, music, college football, and traveling.

 is a native Texan and was born in San Antonio, Texas and raised in Kingsville. After high school, he attended The University of Texas at Austin and graduated with honors in 1982 with a BA in Biology. He earned his dental degree from The University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio and graduated in 1986. A one year General Practice Residency took him to St. Anthony’s Hospital in Oklahoma City which was completed in 1987.
Since then, Dr. Smith has been practicing in the Round Rock/Austin area and enjoys all phases of restorative and cosmetic dentistry. He has been married to his wife, Carol, for over 20 years and they have five children; four boys and one girl. Outside the dental office, Dr. Smith is busy with school and sports events for his children, is a long time active member of Great Hills Baptist Church, and when he can, enjoys fishing, hunting, golf, tennis and just about all outdoor activities.
